Founder and President
Laz Martinez
Laz brings over two decades of diverse experience as a Chief Human Resources Executive across industries such as Luxury, Fashion, Coffee, Consumer Goods, and Food. Throughout his career, he has had the privilege of serving in leadership roles at renowned companies such as Nestlé, Nespresso, Safeway, and LVMH, both domestically and internationally. In his various positions, Laz has played a key role in driving strategic growth, developing talent, shaping organizational structures, and facilitating mergers & acquisitions. His focus has always been on aligning business needs with company culture, fostering talent, and enhancing capabilities. He has had the opportunity to serve on and contribute to Executive Leadership Teams, working collaboratively to achieve business objectives and improve human capital initiatives.
Laz, his husband, Jim, and their dog-kids, Rosie and Stella, have had the wonderful opportunity to travel extensively across five continents. They have lived and worked in New York, the Bay Area, Switzerland, and Guam (a US territory in Asia-Pacific). These life experiences have provided them with an understanding and appreciation for the many wonderful cultural norms across the globe.
In early 2024, Laz transitioned to launching his own HR consultancy, drawing upon his wealth of experience and knowledge. With a strong emphasis on executive coaching, career development, and mentorship, he aims to support organizations in optimizing their human resources strategies. Additionally, Laz is certified as a Life Coach, broadening his ability to assist individuals in personal growth and transformation.
Based now in Las Vegas, Nevada, Laz is committed to serving his clients with integrity and dedication. He looks forward to the opportunity to collaborate with organizations and individuals, offering his expertise to help them achieve their goals and aspirations.
Laz served on my Executive Leadership Team as our CPO/CHRO at the last two organizations where I served as CEO. He was a great partner and coach to me, always balancing business strategy and operations with a focus on organizational development and investment in our human capital.
